Nancy Shroyer Howard is a museum educator, formerly with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and The Museums at Stony Brook, New York. She is the author of children's books about artists like Fun in Florence, a guide to this city for families, also published by Mandragora.
Richard Mello is an artist specializing in paintings and prints. They live in Tuscany and Colorado. They are also the authors of In a Tuscan Castle, a book about their life in a Chianti hill-town.
