On the occasion of the scholarly conference “Renaissance as Resurrection”, and of the exhibition of contemporary Christian art “Fons Vitæ”, promoted by the Sacred Art Office of the Archdiocese of Florence together with the School of Theology of Central Italy, this didactic exhibit has been mounted in the Marino Marini Museum, near the Sepulchre, to suggest the meaning of Alberti’s masterpiece in the Florence of his time, which in the renewal of ancient culture saw a sign of Christ’s paschal triumph.
